The Code sets out principles of integrity and ethical behavior, and our responsibilities to each other, our students, suppliers, stockholders, and the public. The Code establishes standards and a methodology to help guide everyone at Laureate and its network institutions.
The Non-Employee Director Code translates the standards of our employee code to the particular circumstances of our directors. For more information please click here.
Laureate is committed to acting honestly and ethically. We expect the same of our suppliers. The Laureate Code of Conduct and Ethics establishes principles of appropriate behavior and ethical conduct for Laureate employees. The Code of Conduct and Ethics for Suppliers (Supplier Code) sets similar standards for our suppliers.
The Supplier Code contains provisions similar to those in our employee Code of Conduct: accurate records and reporting, protection of assets and information, a prohibition on bribery and corruption, guidelines regarding gifts, meals, and other business courtesies, and conflicts of interest more generally, and a requirement to speak up when issues arise. But the Supplier Code presents these issues in a form more relevant to suppliers.
The Supplier Code should be incorporated into all Laureate vendor and supplier contracts.
Direct any questions about use of the Supplier Code to your local Laureate legal counsel, or the Ethics & Compliance Department at compliance@laureate.net.
